Ok, a couple weeks ago, Annie was going on about being top 3 for valedictorian, not she is taking more classes? For someone so smart, how can she not be done with community college yet!?! Seems another season is possible based on that from last night.
It as a good episode, but a little anticlimactic. There was no Chang/Chang interaction. Wasn't the City College dean involved in some kind of plot with him? The episode started off great but fizzled out at the end for me. The season was cut in half so I understand a lot of story-lines were underdeveloped, this should have been a two-parter though, I think.

Remember, this was a half season, and was supposed to end a while ago - it got pushed back. Their thing all season was Jeff was graduating early. He finished his degree in 3 1/2 years.
Secondly, I know very, very few people that actually finish their degree on time. A four year degree almost always takes at least a semester into your 5th year.

This. I was actually going to come into this thread and post this. Remember Pierce talking about how "we just had Christmas and now it's warm" and the rest of the winter summer semester?

The thing about this is that community college is only a 2 year degree (Associate's Degree). I've never heard of a community college offering a full 4 year Bachelor's Degree. So this cast should all have been done in 2 to 2 and 1/2 years.
My favorite teams are better than your favorite teams

The whole idea of Greendale is that the Dean so desperately wants it to be just like a big school. That's why it's got dorms and 4 year degrees, even though it's classified as a community college.

That actually isn't necessarily true. Many Community Colleges offer Bachelor's Degrees, though normally in limited fields. The community college I went to actually now offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. This is more prevalent in private junior colleges. It's also quite common to be able to earn your degree through a 4-year University via satellite education at a community college.
But we're talking the feasibility of earning a Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year school in a show that featured two school-wide paintball wars, a pillow/blanket fort war, and had a psychotic former Spanish teacher established a short-lived dictatorship. I think at some point, you really do have to suspend your disbelief.
