$10 for Muvico here in Maryland.

$12 to see the IMAX versions in Hunt Valley, MD.

Last movie I went to was in California and the tickets were $10. I don't have a clue what they are here.

The only movie I've seen in a theatre in a long time was TDK and that was $9 at 3 pm. Only went to that because I had the free ticket from Batman Begins SE.

Agreed. Only movies I seen in the theaters in the past 5 years:

Passion of the Christ, Knocked Up (gf made me go), Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Quantum of Solace (free ticket), Transformers 1 and 2

Here in NoVa about 10.50, 11.50 for pseudo-IMAX

I'm sure the midday prices are more reasonable but I typically go late at night

How many of yall are having to pay $10+ dollars to watch the movies being shown on film?

Are theater is only $5, but 11/13 screens are still film and only 2 have been switched to DLP projectors.

So in 11/13 movies, part of it is off the screen lol

It costs $12 to watch a movie here regardless of what day or time it is. So it basically costs $20 for a movie ticket, pop, and popcorn.

Luckily I was able to buy a batch of corporate discounted tickets last year. I also rarely ever buy any food or drinks inside the theatre. I usually eat at a restaurant before I go in and/or bring in snacks/drinks from the outside.

If movies came out in BR the same day as theatres, I would never go to a movie theatre again.
