    Cartoon Network is falling off....

[Not talking about [as], I'm talking about their daytime cartoons.]

I really loved CN for having new having new and old cartoons in rotation, but now they are running the same five cartoons (which range from meh to hilarious) into the ground and now they're adding reality shows into the mix. Cartoon Network with reality shows? SMH. What bothers me most is that they shelf great cartoons like KND or Foster's Imaginary Home and won't even bother to move them to Boomerang like they did with Dexter's Lab.

Really sad state of affairs and hope this is just a phase.

You're about 2 years too late with this opinion really. CN AND Boomerang has fallen off such a huge cliff it isn't even funny. I remember 10-12 years ago visiting family in the US and wanting those channels now they're just shells of their former selves.

Sadly, all of the good cartoons you can never see like Roadrunner, Looney Tunes, Foghorn Leghorn (one of the best cartoons ever), Doug, etc. because now, all they show is Johnny Bravo, Powderpuff girls, courage the dog, and a bunch of other crud that nobody cares about. The only good ones you can see is Popeye and Tom & Jerry...

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I'm not digging the reality shows. I can't stand the Total Drama stuff. The new game show that takes place on a roller coaster? Not my thing. My kids love it all though. That is the target audience after all. Children.

I think Chowder and Flapjack are hilarious though.

I was kinda hoping the New Year's Looney Tunes marathon would bring them back to CN but I guess it didn't pull in enough ratings.

That "crud" you speak of was awesome.

But yeah, I love Flapjack and Chowder.

Yea sadly this is where television is heading. It started with Disney and moved it's way to Nick and now has taken down Cartoonetwork. Sad times when kids have their own reality television show now

CN used to show some awesome cartoons when I was younger. Now they're all crap. I'm not sure if it's that they dumped great cartoons like Looney Tunes, Road Runner, Tom and Jerry, ect. or if it's because I've grown older, but I haven't watched the network is several years.

                  100% agree -

The only shows worth anything are as you mention - Chowder & Misadventures of Flapjack - I just bought the last 2 seasons of Chowder for my kids since CN is crap. They watch Noggin all day and night now with a bit of Chowder vids mixed in......

If you wanna see Looney Tunes, they got the Golden Collection on DVD. It would suck if CN just aired the same old thing over and over again since 95. Cartoon Network used to show awesome cartoons, and they still do.

You'd rather watch Jonny Bravo than Bugs Bunny? I can't even remember the last time I actually saw a looney tune on TV... besides when Space Jam is on.

There's enough air time to play all of the cartoons from Loony Toones to Johnny Bravo. I can understand why they'll play the newer cartoons - some of them were given life by CN and most of them apply to children to today so I get it.

It's just a shame that CN is not geared toward the adult crowd at all. It once was and then they shifted to children of today. I remember staying up late at night on school nights just to see Loony Tunes and Popeye. I wish they would bring that back.

They could really dedicate different days to different programming but it's about ratings so what can you really do?

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Johnny Bravo not so much, but ultimately yes because I feel like I've seen every Bugs Bunny episode. Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, 2 Stupid Dogs over LT? Absolutely. I love Baby Loony Tunes and those full-length movies like Quackbusters, however.

And Tom and Jerry never stuck with me because I've seen one too many garbage Tom and Jerry movies.

One thing I wish CN would do is play Animaniacs.
