Calling all Clones! The Official OS Jim Rome Thread.

I've been listening to this guy for years and I just dam love the show.

I was even at the tour stop in Buffalo (was working for the Bisons at the time). Was such a great show having Rome driven into the stadium via an OJ white bronco. Jay Mohr was soo dam funny that day too.

Love the show, love the smackoffs, sure sometimes I don't agree with his takes or smack but its on of the most entertaining sports radio shows around.

Well heres a thread to discuss all that is Jim Rome, and the XR4Ti Crew.

I listen via streamlink so sometimes I get a wekk behind or so but I plan on getting caught up and updating this thread daily.

So clones have a take and don't suck....this thread will always be a no tolerance Friday!

I hate his TV show but I love his radio show. I try and catch a little bit of it every morning.

It's definitely a radio show that takes a week or two to get used to but it's freakin hilarious once you get into it.

Overall I like hearing his takes, and his interviews with athletes. All the "clones" crap gets old fast, and I don't really care to hear lame callers making fun of each other.

That being said, his two sided aspect turns me off. He'd bash soccer and horse racing to no end, but now half of all we hear is horse racing because all of a sudden it's awesome since Jim owns a horse.

i can't stomach the guy...all that clone crap and people calling in and acting like fools is nonsense to me. sorry, just not my thing...

Caliendo has Rome down perfectly. IN...credible.

I used to listen to Rome's radio show every day at work, but I haven't heard it in a while. His TV show is okay, but the radio show is where it's at.

I used to subscribe to his show. I think I will again. He is a lot better on the radio. Did J.D. from Nashville make a third call? The first call will go down as the #1 call in my book. Shamoan!

He made a 2nd call, it was rather forgettable and he got run. I believe it was to "The Devil went Down to Georgia." It was bad.

His 3rd call is a notch below his first. Another classic IMO. Rome loved it too. It was to "Smooth Criminal" by MJ. Go to YouTube as someone posted it up there.

His fill-in hosts SUCK! BAD! I'd rather listen to 3 hours of fart noises than hear another 2 minutes of Petros Papadakis. Can't wait for him to return on Monday.
