    Re: Funny People

Funny People was good up until the last hour when the movie changed gears. The movie would have been better if they got rid of Leslie Mann's character as well as her family.

Apatow went all out for the BR version. There was probably over 10hrs worth of special features.

    Movie Grade: B

I'm a little late on this one but I just saw it 2 days ago. Awesome movie. I watched it twice. I'm sure it helps that I love Adam Sandler and I've been watching everything he's done since I was like 6.

Every character in the movie was played perfectly by each actor and the only person I think could have been switched out for another person was Daisy.

Lots of great jokes throughout the movie. My favorite part was definitely the scene with
      Spoiler

When Ira says "I thought everybody loved you" to Ray, that was the funniest part of the movie IMO.

The big complaint I seen with this movie was that it was too long but it wasn't long to me at all. The only thing I think they could have shortened was the part where George and Ira stay at Laura's house. Other than that, the length was pretty good to me. When the ending came I kind of felt like "that's it?" since I expected a different ending but I'm not really disappointed with the way it ended.

Really solid movie and one of the better Adam Sandler movies in awhile. Him and Seth Rogen fit together perfectly. I'm definitely gonna pick this up on DVD when I get the chance.
