I feel like it won't. According to people here, Cameron has wanted to make this movie for over a decade now. I figure that with that time off (and the little work he has had lately) that they have spent a lot of time ironing out the story, and that the visuals and action sequences are dictated through the story's progression.

That doesn't mean it will appeal to me though. Harry Potter, PotC, Chronicles of Narnia, and LOTR are considered to be well done but that genre simply doesn't appeal to me.

I don't know... looks like a mixture between fantasy and sci-fi, I guess?

I didn't actually mean to use the word "genre" in my last post for that sentence. I didn't mean to say "genre," but I tend to fit them in similar categories nonetheless, even though the movies aren't at all the same themselves.

Last of the Mohicans meets Dances with Wolves in a Sci Fi setting. Is what some are calling the storyline and I agree after seeing the 15 minutes of footage at Avatar day last friday. If the film is good or great it will make more than the Titanic easily. People will go see this film 2 and 3 times James Camerons new 3D camera and shooting tech is that revolutionary
