Re: Dexter (Season 4)
You use your blinker for safety not for common courtesy so comparing the two is ridiculous. Secondly, its idiotic to think that every thread dealing with a movie or tv show has to have nothing but spoiler tags in it so we dont spoil something for someone who shouldnt be in the thread to begin with. Ive gone and spoiled 24 for myself because I was impatient, I didnt complain about it because things werent in spoiler tags. Hell, the very thread title for 24 says something warning viewers from the west coast so they dont have something ruined for them, its not assumed that everything needs to be in spoilers in that thread either. Lastly, the show has been over for how long? Now we have to spoiler tag everything we write about a show even when its off the air and has been over for atleast a month? To me it all seems a little absurd.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Dexter (Season 4)
Well I guess I look at it a completely different way then you guys, thats all I can say at this point. I figure if its been more then a month since the season ended that thats more then enough time to openly discuss the show. In the 24 thread people talk about the goings on within minutes of it happening and nobody complains, I guess because it warns west coast viewers right in the title, so I dont see why its such an issue here. At the end of the day it really doesnt effect me in anyway, I just dont see the point in complaining about it in this instance.Comment

Re: Dexter (Season 4)
I dunno. I never looked far into this thread KNOWING that I was only episode 2 into Season 4. I basically looked at the first couple pages and that was it.
But im also thinking spoiler tags should be used but not every time for every thing.
So i guess i see both sidesCharger Fan Born and Raised!

Re: Dexter (Season 4)
Is there any place I can see this season? I've finally caught up and seen Seasons 1-3 on DVD but it's difficult to see this show on TV in Canada so I never got to see Season 4 and I want to see what all the fuss is about (aside from chestnutz post I just happened to scroll by above....)

Re: Dexter (Season 4)
Christ sorry. I normally would use spoilers but I figured that was for things that just happened or things that would happen in a show in the future, or for a movie. I didn't think I would need a spoiler for something that's been over for a month.

Your the one that seems to have his panties in a bunch. I never even complained. All I did was ask nicely about using spoiler tags and your overreacting to it. I didn't realize it was such a big deal.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Dexter (Season 4)
I'm halfway through watching Season 4 so far and it's been awesome. I don't know what it was about Season 3 but it was lacking something IMO. Season 4 definitely isn't lacking anything.
Loving the Trinity Killer. Didn't expect his outside life to be so normal.
I was wondering about Season 5. Is that getting delayed at all since Michael C. Hall got cancer?Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Dexter (Season 4)
Finally got to the finale and watched it. This is the first time I've actually been caught up with the show and had to wait for the new season to come and with an ending like that I just want to jump right in to the next season. And even though I already knew it was coming, that death scene was pretty heartbreaking.
I really wish they never killed Rita and I want to believe it was just a dream or something but obviously the writers have squashed that. I guess it is a sign of how great this show is though that I feel this way and that I'm worried about what happens to the kids now that Rita is gone. This show is just so good that it draws you into the characters and makes you care about them (well except Quinn, I really hope he dies).
I kind of suspected after season 3 in the finale where they had the blood drop from Dexter's arm on to Rita's wedding dress that something was going to happen to her. I can't say if I would of guessed that she was going to die at the end had I not been a dumb*** and found out but the groundwork was being laid at times and it made sense because Dexter kept thinking he could finally live a normal life these last 2 seasons. He was finally becoming happy and he was slowly starting to gain back whatever human emotions he had before his mother was murdered and then they hit him with something like that and snatch it all away. Also with Dexter having a son it seemed like it was just bound to happen that his son was going to be "born in blood", just like Dexter.
Hopefully things are going to carry on longer with this show but it does seem like they are hinting at the end being soon with Deb inching closer and closer to finding out about who Dexter really is. It's sad when you think about it, how badly they beat down the character of Deb. Seeing Lundy's last breath, getting engaged to the Ice Truck Killer, etc. And it seems like eventually she is going to find out her brother is a mass murderer. Who knows, maybe if/when she finally finds out the truth about Dexter, her character will just be so beaten down from all of the events that have happened to her in her life that she just won't give a damn that Dexter is a murderer. Doubtful, but just throwing it out there.
Anyways, cannot wait until Season 5. Something I find cool about every Dexter season finale is that it always leaves you wondering about how his character is going to change heading into the next season because of the events that happened previously in the last season.
Agreed.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Spoiler from the newest book, Dexter By Design - probably won't be what they have on the show, as the show writers really only took the Ice Truck Killer from the books, it seems...
SpoilerIn the 3rd book, Deborah finds out and doesn't really react because it's at the end of the book.
However, in the 4th book...Deborah freaks out on Dexter in the beginning, saying how awful he is, etc...and then says "I don't know what to do with you yet."
Then, she gets stabbed by one of the suspects in the case and goes into a coma, almost dies. When she comes out of it, her and Dexter have a moment talking about the guy who stabbed her. She then says: "Dad was right." and then "Do what you do, Dex."Comment
