WOW! bj, this episode was awesome. Now if this was done as a season finale, holy crap it would have been even better. This season is the best in a very long time.

Now I'm sad the show doesn't come back till 1/22.

        Agree.

The thing about this season that feels so refreshing compared to past seasons is that it feels like there's one over-arcing storyline that's built upon per episode or every other episode BUT the way it's told is more cohesive and it makes sense when they move from A to B then C. I just hope they keep the quality up and not fall into the trappings of old.

Yeah this season has been pretty good. I think it's time for Chloe to make an exit though. She annoys me to no end. I'd rather still have Pete around.

                  Re: Smallville Season 9

Beginning to look like the Superman/Green Arrow Hour, but I liked this episode anyway. I didn't love it, but I liked it. The protagonist was no big deal, and the "you have to kill me angle" was kind of lame, but the chemistry between Arrow and the girl was good and Zod's revelation (or something I missed) about the Red Sun was interesting. He seems to think that the Red Sun will give him and his army powers and Clark will retain his. Actually the red sun will make any Kryptonian powerless. I believe it has no effect on humans.
PS:I knew about the development of the "Solar Tower" but I thought it was to amplify the yellow sun's radiation, not to change it to red.

Absolute Justice was awesome. My favorite episode of the series. I've really enjoyed the season so far. It's been the best season, imo, in a long time. I'm glad they brought back the Martian. And gave him his powers back (him dodging the ice by going transparent was sweet), and introduced Waller and Checkmate. I'm wondering if Checkmate is going to be a precursor to Project Cadmus, or when she talked about an Apocalypse if she meant Apokolips. I also read that not only will they be back later this season (obviously), but so will another actor that used to be a regular (and no, it's not Lana this time!)

Yeah, they scored big with the "movie". Great comic book style and terrific character interaction. Martian Manhunter's return of powers was very welcome.

Pam Grier was a suprising, but excellent choice as Amanda Waller. She has the acting range to pull it off too. I think that at the pace that the show is going you could expect a season 10. There still could be a reason for why they are going all out this year as it may be that the producers are bracing themselves for the end. I thought that with wher the show seemed to be headed a few years back that it wouldn't see a season 7 let alone a 9th. I think the writers are getting bolder and smarter by adding other DC characters. Metropolis is supposed to be like New York(or loose version of New York) and so it should be that they expand on that because Clark is in the big city and not Kansas anymore(no pun intended). On aside note I would like for them to add Robin to the line up or Wonder Woman.

Absolute Justice! Was absolutely awesome, this won a lot of points.

This series better go up from here.

Not bad, certainly not great-this episode might have been better done with no freaky villain and more couple interaction.
