I'm just kind of concerned with the new group taking over Dunder Mifflin, and things changing so much.

I really don't see where they can go with this. It's not like Michael Scott could buy Dunder Mifflin back from Sabre, or anything like that.

I really thought David Wallace would be more help. It's weird.

I'm worried that they may ruin the show. Not sure. I guess we'll have to see. I am definitely going to keep tuning in, but don't look forward to the show like I used to.

I thought the same thing. This takes it in a completely new direction, but it also limits what they can do.

Yes, IMO, it was terrible. I didn't laugh once, and didn't even really even care about anything that happened.

The 48-year-old comedian told The Sun that his character will clash with Steve Carell's Michael Scott when he pops up in the show.

Looking forward to that part, hopefully he tears him to shreds or something that creates a bit of sympathy for Michael. That's one of the differences I've never enjoyed about the two versions of the shows. I felt sympathy for David Brent despite his obnoxious persona, with Michael Scott I want him to get punched in the face repeatedly.

I don't know if I subconciously picked up this information from the newswire at some point or something but I was definitely JUST thinking today about how this exact scenario could work. I mean, I guess it's not that far-fetched of an idea, but just coincidental I see this post the same day I was thinking about it.

I feel the opposite. It was extremely hard for me to feel sorry for Brent, but Michael sometimes just seems like a true idiot that I feel bad for. Brent, to me, was just an ******* who got what he deserved. I didn't get on his side emotionally until the special.
