Can people please put spoilers from the previews into spoiler tags? Some of us prefer not to know anything about the next episode.

      Agreed.

BTW did anyone catch the reference to 13 "not being the hottest woman in the world" with respect to Maxim's Top 100 list? I though that was pretty clever and I caught it instantly.

My apologies... but seeing as it was in the previews at the end of the show I doubt I "spoiled" anything.

What do you do at home when it's on... plug your ears and close your eyes?

We turn it off and don't watch the previews.

Yes. Or change the channel. Or not see commercials/previews at all if I'm watching from my DVR or Hulu.

So.... like your watching a football game and a commercial for House comes on you quickly turn the channel? What if that channel has a preview for another show you don't want to know about? Or do you just set the last channel to telemundo and click back to it in an emergency?

                Seems silly.

Don't really watch sports on TV, actually. Watch ESPN, and soccer, but that's it.

Plus, like I said, a lot (actually, most) of the times I watch my shows later (love my DVR), and fast forward through commericals, or via Hulu.

So, no, it's not a problem I have to deal with. How hard is it for people to just put that stuff in spoiler tags, anyway?

I close my eyes and ears, like I just told you. I don't want any spoilers for the show I want to watch. In fact, I don't know why they show previews (or at least ones so spoilerific).

What's worse is the shows like The Moment of Truth and Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?, when right before they cut to commercial they'll show more for the episode that you're watching. I mean say the guy is hung on the middle of a question and they cut to commercial, then they show a preview with Foxworthy asking the guy some different question... well, suspense is gone, and now you know that he got that one suspenseful question right.

Hope that makes sense; previews for shows that you already know you're going to watch aren't worth being spoiled over. It's different with movies when you're hung on whether you want to see it or not, but even then trailers are getting far too spoilerific as well. Show a couple things that gives us an idea of what the movie will be about, maybe a cool action shot or two, and that's it. Look at the Funny People trailer to see what I mean about something that's far too spoiler-heavy.

Physical action? So, when a show you watch ends, you don't change the channel? And I don't "watch shows in special ways." Sorry that some nights I have other things I need to do (like homework, studying, going out, hanging out with friends, etc) instead of watching TV. So I might catch a show the next day. It's more convenient for me to do that, with the added bonus that I don't have to risk seeing a preview for the next episode.

Really, this gets brought up in a lot of the threads we have here for different shows, and you're the first person I've seen that seems to have a huge problem with it. Most people are reasonable enough to respect others. They are spoilers, after all, and that is the reason that spoiler tags were added to the forum.

I don't have a "Huge" problem with it.

I just find it odd that on message board about a show, that I'm being asked not to mention that it CONTINUES next week without spoiler tags. What exactly does that spoil? Were you under the assumption that the show/story wouldn't continue and I ruined that for you?

How about you acknowledge I didn't actually have anything in my post worth you "high horsing" me about? or is it unreasonable for you to respect others in the first place and not start a snit over your hangups?
