Pretty much. I love the cast and the writing. Phil is so funny. If this show makes it for a long run. Ed O'Neil, might not just be thought about as being only Al Bundy. He is that good in this show too me. I love his portrayal of his character.Comment

Growing up watching so many family shows that were mostly unrealistic, it's refreshing to see a show like Modern Family.
Claire rolling out of the couch, hiding behind the balloons, come on, who wouldn't try to do that? That's not happening 15 years ago on television.
Luke is just hilarious.
"Mom, the cake came and just wanted to tell you that it's missing a piece."
"Luke, are you eating a piece of the cake?"
"No."
"Alex, stop trying to kill your brother and Luke, stop inhaling helium."
(in squeaky voice) "I'm not."
"Don't lie."
(in squeaky voice) "How does she know?"
Cameron is also great (well, everyone is in their own way).
"Cameron, someone's in Lily's room."
Cameron just jumping out of bed and grabbing a bat. "It's go time."
Then Mitchell rolling up in there with a newspaper.
"Wow, good thing there wasn't a spider in here."
There's just too much. Manny dropping "check mate" and extending his wrist; Phil telling everyone they can touch the iPad but not touch it.

My sentiments EXACTLY. And I hope this show goes on for YEARS. Honestly, I think they've set it up so perfectly that show show can easily progress and continue as the characters age... Haley in college? LUKE in high school/college?? As long as the writing stays on point this show could stay money for season upon season.Comment
