I think one of the funniest things about the show that always gets me crackin up is when Phil is running or going up the stairs you always hear "fix that step" it always gets me. My dad was like that so much.Comment

I do believe that after Charlie Kelly and Dr.Sheldon Cooper, Phil Dunphy is the greatest character ever to hit television.Comment

This show gets better and better over re-runs during the summer, btw.
I just caught the line from the Airport episode, Phil is driving Mitch back and the phone ring and he quickly goes "Quick, who sang Evil Woman?", Mitch goes "What?" and Phil answers the phone "E.L.O"
LMFAO man.
I cannot wait til it starts again next month. The layers of writing on this show is utterly unbelievable.Comment

Captain and Tennile my favorite line. my all time favorite so far is the episode son loses his bike and he crawls in the window of the big busted neighbor his reaction when he's busted. Phil is the best character on that showComment

Anyone still watching this? I don't think a season 7 thread was even started. The "stoned" episode with Phil and Mitchell was up there with Frasier's "High Holidays" featuring Niles and Martin.Comment

Still watching. They got very complacent and content with all the accolades, I think. They're relying on a lot of crutches, specifically with Claire, Mitch and Cam. I love the way the Haley/Andy dynamic has played out though.
It's still pretty funny, especially the episode (I think) a couple weeks ago. I think that was the one with the movie. If I remember correctly the episode where Phil was flirting with the chick and felt guilty about it was pretty damn good.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 04-17-2016, 05:12 AM.Comment

I don't watch them when the air anymore, but I record a lot of reruns on USA. Phil is one of my favorite tv characters of all time.Comment

OS forum participation has dwindled, but it is noteworthy that the show has just been renewed for two seasons (44 episodes) with the adult stars getting big pay increases.Comment

I saw the series finale and wasn't blown away. I guess thewasn't consider tired by the writers. There were some emotional moments in the finale but it and the couple of episodes leading up to it weren't great. The show has obviously been on the decline but they still managed to deliver at times.Spoiler
