          Re: Cleveland Show

Seth MacFarlane’s The Cleveland Show had been widely expected to be canceled, and The Animation Guild recently confirmed that the show is finished. The show had a respectable four-season run on FOX comprising 88 total episodes.

Fox Animation Studios is still humming along with Family Guy and American Dad so MacFarlane remains busy, though an undetermined number of Cleveland Show rank-and-file will likely be laid off.

[UPDATED—4/17—1:05pm ET]: According to Entertainment Weekly, a Fox rep says that they haven’t made an official decision on the fifth season. There is no reason to doubt The Animation Guild’s cancellation notice since they represent the artists working on the show, but in the interest of fairness, we’re mentioning FOX’s current position on the show.
Fox has canceled Seth MacFarlane's The Cleveland Show after four seasons.

I don't know if there's anything official from MacFarlane himself, but it's just more like... they have yet to renew the show, and a cartoon animation like this takes eight or nine months from pre-production to airing premiere of an episode. I don't think they have any episodes sitting about in a vault to release, either. So unless they try and ham up a rush job, it's probably all but finished.

Maybe Cleveland will now move back to Quahog for Family Guy, but hopefully he goes back to old form and his family is hardly in it (much like they previously were).

I would keep Jr. and Rallo and that's it. Rallo and Stewie together would be great.

Strange dynamic though. I always liked the angle of Brian being the only one who really talks to Stewie. Never feels right when other adults have real conversations with him. Rallo's not an adult but he's old enough to not have baby talk. As crazy, cartoon-unrealistic as some of it may be, what Rallo does is more age appropriate. Mixing him with Stewie would take away Stewie's mystique.

Wow, that was way too deep for a Family Guy/Cleveland Show discussion.

On the contrary, I own a book called Family Guy and Philosophy: A Cure for the Petarded. I have only read one chapter, but it talks a bit like this (yet also on a level where you'll be laughing as well).
