If you care about receiving the latest version of Android for at least 2 years, stay away from Samsung tablets. I bought my wife and I each the orginial Note 10.1. I've sold mine but she still has hers and I think it's still running Jellybean 4.1.2. There's no reason why they should not have updated it to kitkat by now. They just introduced the 2014 version and seemed to have forgotten about the original. As good as the new Samsung tablets look, i'm staying far away from them.
