If you care about receiving the latest version of Android for at least 2 years, stay away from Samsung tablets. I bought my wife and I each the orginial Note 10.1. I've sold mine but she still has hers and I think it's still running Jellybean 4.1.2. There's no reason why they should not have updated it to kitkat by now. They just introduced the 2014 version and seemed to have forgotten about the original. As good as the new Samsung tablets look, i'm staying far away from them.

So far I'm really liking it, gotta get used to it though. Much different than the Galaxy Nexus.

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Need a little advice OS...I am with Sprint now and have been for 11 years..basically their service all around has gotten much worse and i'm ready to leave. My contract doesn't end till April 2015.
I have the HTC One now and have had it for awhile...here are my options. There is a new phone out that is by invite only to buy. The Oneplus One, nice phone but new company, I got an invite and bought it for 350.
Should be here next week, i'm switching to T-Mobile cause it's a GSM phone and TM has it where if I switch to them from Sprint they will pay for early contract break which is 200$. Only thing is I have to buy a T-Mobile phone, so was going to by a cheap Tmobile phone which is 100$
Was thinking to keep it for a week or so then switch to my Oneplus One when it gets here. At this point I would have to pay off the cheap phone, was going to do that anyway but was told it has to be financed to get the early contract pay.
Guy said it would be best to keep the cheap phone till all things are taking care of with Tmobile, then would have to send them my phone and get credit on it all totaling probably around 2 months. Would rather been able to do this in store but this same 100$ phone online is 160 in store.
Thinking it will be a much less hassle to just wait till my phone get's here, activate my Oneplus one and get billed the 200$ early contract break fee and pay it over time.
Have never dealt with a SIM card phone as like I said i've been with Sprint for a very long time...I was thinking I could just by the cheap phone...then put the sim card in my Oneplus One. Like I said just thinking less hassle to pay the 200 myself...thoughts if you can follow all of this-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
BB now has the G2 for $49.99 via an upgrade with a $50.00 gift card. If you use the gift card toward the purchase, you'll be paying less than $5.00 bucks.
I'm sorry but that's an amazing deal.... I'll be heading back to BB tomorrow get that $50.00 credit back to my accountComment
