I found out that I wasn't eligible for an upgrade in late August so I just went ahead and did the warranty through HTC to get another One (M7) with a working camera.

I kind of feel like I would be inadvertently hitting those things on the curved edge if I hold it normal. The functionality of that edge is pretty neat though.

Why wouldnt they make it curved on both sides?

Seems perfect for lg to make one with the volume and power buttons being on the back

I think that would be better for a tablet than a phone.

I'm also a bit disappointed because I've been waiting on the note 4 but it doesn't seem like that big of a jump from the note 3.

Still a monster but now I'm wondering what else is out there that competes with it

Yeah I agree not much of a jump from note 3. Currently rockin the note 2 which is a big jump from that. I try not to buy a new phone every year and it's been going good sticking with Samsung to skip a generation.

I have a note 2 as well. I saw the LG G3 but from what i saw from a friends the other night the only way to turn the screen on is by setting the phone to tapping the screen.

Also from its very luminous nice screen it burns the battery out faster so that's not something I want to deal with even though I liked my last LG phone.

What else is out there?

I may end up with the note 4 anyway if I can't find something nice that's similar.

Ok, i think i'm warming up to the edge after seeing a demo but i'm wondering what the price difference will be between this and the regular 4. The biggest con is that the edge will be using a smaller battery because of the design.

That might be a killer for me but like i do with my note 2 i'll have a back up battery and a battery charger so i don't have to worry about charging my phone since i'll be busy out and about.

hmm the Sony xperia Z3 looks very appealing. I do like the water proof feature since I live on a island and it rains a lot.
