 Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

Yup. Knock on wood but there's little they can reveal about the Pixel phones that will make me want to move on from my 6p. Id even consider leaving Fi of the next flagship-quality phone with front-facing speakers doesn't come from Google.

 Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

Its a really great phone. I have had mine since Christmas 2015 and have had zero issues. Battery is still rock solid (even though a lot of complaints after Nougat) and zero slowdown, which I couldn't say for my first non-iPhone the Note 4, after a year.

I hope Pixel phones are amazing, but I doubt they will offer enough for me to switch from 6P and the price won't match what the phone will offer.Comment

 Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

I am debating on whether or not I should update my Nexus 6p to Nougat. For those that have update, have you had any negative impacts on the phone's performance? I have read a lot about people having smaller battery lives after the update. ThanksComment

Zero issues here. But I've read about others as well.
About 50% on normal. Depends on situation.

 Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

My 6p's battery life has gotten MUCH better since upgrading to 7.0. During a school day on Marshmallow, I would usually keep my phone on my desk, and from 7:30-4:00, it would usually drop from 100% to 60ish%. On Nougat, I pick it up after the same time sitting, and it's in the high 80s% or even 90% (like tonight).

I'm really REALLY liking 7.0 on my 6p and Pixel C.XBox Gamertag: djbeth77

I am still on 08/05/16 security patch. Before this month I received all security patches by the first week of the month. I wonder why I never got the September one?Comment

For those that had a Samsung galaxy Note 5, Is it worth paying $300-330 Used (very good condition).

Are there better options in that price range? I'm on Verizon.Comment
