That’s a pic one for me. We send lots of pics/vids of our 18 month old and the way they get butchered is unacceptable. And from experience, it’s so hard to get people to use a 3rd party app like WhatsApp unless you’re gonna be out of the country. Lol

So, I put a 64GB Pixel 2 and case in my cart yesterday. Soooo tempted to get it. The only thing keeping me now is that my Apple Watch series 3 is just not the same without an iPhone lol

I ordered a 64GB Pixel 2 yesterday evening. I’m going to keep it and my iPhone X. I can live without iMessage and since the only people I FaceTime are my wife and mom, convincing them to use Duo shouldn’t be too difficult.

And how can you beat unlimited free photo and video storage of our little man.

At least for now I’ll hold onto the iPhone X until I know for sure I just really needed to get Google out of my system or this is a change for a length of time. [emoji16]

After using the X and remember I bought the Pixel 2 and used it for about 5 hrs while waiting for the 2 XL to arrive, I like the smaller form factor. The only reason I went with Plus models of iPhones, for example, is because you have to go Plus for better camera stuff etc. I like what Google has done with the Pixel line where the internals (excluding battery size) and camera are the same and you only need to choose what size device you want.

Everyone having an iPhone is one of the arguments FOR me having Android. Last thing I want to do is be subject to everyone's constant, empty bull**** all the time. It's bad enough when I'm involved in group chats I'm in, having to mute them after like 5 responses.

Thankfully, I’m only in one iMessage group and that’s for iMore ambassadors. The other group would be iMessage but my brother-in-law has always been Android so it’s a text thread. Lol

Delivered to the wrong address which is at the end of my street. I went there just now when I got home and they didn’t know anything. Guess FedEx will try to retrieve on Monday and I’ll get a refund. Then, order again I reckon.

Call Google. They can at least note it stolen, so it will be worthless when your neighbor or the FedEx driver keeps or tries to sell it.

They may also just send another one out instead of making you wait as the sender has more power than you do.

Just got off the phone with Google. They’re tagging the device as lost in shipment and sending a replacement. Pretty good customer service as far as I’m concerned! Really good actually!
