It is really, really tough to decide on a new phone. So many deserving options out there, each with their own unique set of strengths and weaknesses.

I went into the AT&T store last week and played around with the iPhone 6, Note 4, Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8. They are all such a big step up from my current iPhone 4S.

Going to try to wait it out until I can try out an Xperia Z3, then make a decision. How are you guys dealing with the increasing size of these new models? Do you have to change the way you carry it around, or is the issue overblown?

Man, I am in the same position. I'm coming over from an iPhone 4 and all of the flagship android phones look good. I thought I was settled on the L3 G3, but I'm now I'm reading about possible lag issues. I definitely want my UI to be silky smooth.

It's overblown and honestly after a few days you get used to a larger size then realize you can't go back to teeny tiny phones anymore.

Before it was new and jokes ensued as they should have but they've proven out over time.

I feel the Note will be too big but I'm still going to pick one up anyway.

Pretty dumb move but ah well. The thing I will hate the most is carrying this and the iPhone.

Lol you've got twice the trouble. Going from a small phone to the note 2 I was like man this is a bit much but I did eventually get used to it. Fits in my pocket fine but I don't wear skinny jeans.

Now the note 4 is bigger than mine so I'd have to see it in person. Can't say much about it took I do

Rumor is nexus 6 will be announced tomorrow with a 5.9 inch screen.

That's my issue my personal phone is the S5 and my new work phone will be the iPhone 6. Was gonna wait and get the Note as my work phone but one, didn't want to wait that long and two, I hate carrying my S5 and iPhone 4S around now.

I watched that detailed Note 4 video review posted a page back. WOW. Looks incredible.

If I can get comfortable using a phone of that size, it sure looks like Note 4 is a really wonderful choice. The interface and sheer number of options and customization will take a while to learn and master, but it's great to have that kind of flexibility.

I'd get it but I'm drawing the line at the price. It's $650 and available on all carriers. Note 4 it is Friday.

Yeah you like the Nexus brand though so you'd be getting it for what it does not necessarily screen size.

Big screens are popular now, but I do think there is a limit to it still.

Now that price is wow... thats crazy. I hope to get the Note 4 myself at upgrade time.

Finally on Verizon, YAY!! but I really don't know if I want a 6 inch phone. I badly wanted a Nexus 5 but Verizon has been very solid for me plus I stream a ton of NFL content which can only be done on Verizon so I didn't want to give it up. Now though, I'll have to look at it in the store before I make a decision. 90% of my time is spent sitting at work or at home but it's that other 10% when I want to go out to the bar or just a movie or something. I live in LA and never wear a jacket and rarely carry a bag except to and from work, what am I supposed to do with this thing?

After reading some of the specs online I noticed the nexus 6 is still the same size as the iPhone 6 plus even though the screen is bigger on the nexus.
