I got this Moto Z Play Droid and really liking the interactionability .... yes, I just made that up.

Having never been an Android user before, I'm wondering if they are as picky with official charging cords like Apple is. The charging time with the standard included cord and adapter is pretty slow. Does one run the risk when using non-official chargers that claim to be fast chargers?

Fast charging if available on the phone, will work with any of the chargers. I use anker ones from Amazon and have never had a problem with my phones/tablets.

So I finally got my Home Mini he other day, I love this thing a lot, my son loves using too. Its a liittle great device. The speaker is preety loud too.

Getting my Pixel Buds today also, only paid $60 for then since I used my my $100 store credit google gave me for buying the phone. I heard some mixed things about them, but I also heard people are just picky and have read some nice reviews also.

Any suggestions on a good text notification sound?

Ringtone wise I just use a hockey goal horn for it(would've been nice to use the Jays one during baseball season, but that one is impossible to find the exact horn online).

Text notification wise I usually just got it on vibrate so never really cared about the tone. One I'm trying out now is the coin noise in Super Mario lol.

Though I’ve moved back over to an iPhone, I’m excited to see what the Google Home the wife bought me for Christmas can do. We’re moving from SC to NC right now but once we close on our house I should be able to see what it’s all about...

People liking their Google Pixel 2 XL's? Verizon's offering 300 off, and was going to hold off for the Galaxy S9, but also hearing that the prices will be more expensive than current phones, and the S9 Plus looks to be the better version. Not sure if I really want to spend that much more vs Pixel 2 XL, you know?

Got the Note 8 yesterday coming from the Note 5. I'm impressed with the display. The extended length makes the use of the s pen way more effective to me. I didn't care to write much using the 5, but the experience on the 8 is night and day better to me. I used to get anxious writing on the 5 which the 8s extended length has resolved.

The fingerprint scanner though I could do without. It's placement is just awkward and I often find myself having to look to find it. Definitely miss the home button. My co worker tells me ill get used to it. Samsung could take some notes from LG on how to properly implement a fingerprint scanner on the back of a phone.

Did I mention this screen is absolutely gorgeous? I'm thinking this phone will make me forget that I wanted the Note 7 so bad.

I don't get why they implemented the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone instead of the front button. It's a joke. Who holds their phone like that? It's incredibly dumb.

I love it on the back. Not a fan of the front unless it was laying on my desk. Its just natural to pick it up and run one of my fingers on the back. (Pixel 2XL)

I love the pure andriod experience. I'm finally on the verge to upgrade. I have a budget so the Pixel line is out.

Right now BB has a deal on the Essential Phone. After many updates to the phone and an official 8.1 update last week, I think I'm gonna pull the trigger.

With the updates, the phone is a nice deal at the price offered.

                            Any owners wanna chime in?

Went and ordered 2 Essential Phones (Pure White and Black Moon) for the wife and myself. Picking them up tomorrow.

Played with the phone at a Sprint store in my area. What a beautiful phone. The build quality is amazing. Gorilla Glass 5 with a ceramic back and titanium casing.

                              Edit: Picked up the phones.

Old SIM won't work. Sprint sending a new 1. Should arrive by Tuesday

                              Whaaaaaa

I do the same thing....my prior phone had no fingerprint at all, so it's awesome to just unlock fast. Natural movement for me now. I set it up with my right hand index and middle finger, and left hand index finger. Covers how I hold the phone normally or when I'm laying down in bed
