I'm definitely leaning more toward the Zune HD after talking to some guys in Gamestop last night (went to pick up APF 2K8). For my needs, that will more just fine and I played around with my coworker's Zune and it was pretty sweet. Heck, that's how I found out the thing existed. LOL

Average ratings on sites also make me warm and fuzzy for it. Customer reviews on walmart.com give the HD 4.5 stars based on 72 reviews. It also has a 4-star rating on CNET. I'm liking that.

I have no idea if you're a baseball fan, but the iPod wins based on the fact that hit has MLB At-Bat alone. My favorite app ever. You can listen to the radio broadcast of any game. No blackout restrictions.

What the picture quality like from either to an HDTV? Going from something that small to a 32"-50" HDTV has gotta lose picture quality.

Especially considering it takes almost 2 GBs to have a decent 720p conversion of a typical 90 minute movie.

It's 720p and it outputs on HDMI. I would think the quality is going to be pretty good. You have to buy like a $50 adapter for that feature though.

Give some impressions if you can. I've never used a Zune before, hell I don't think I've ever even seen one lol, so I'd like to know what it does better than a Touch.

Congrats. I have a 30GB regular zune. Heard MS made improvements on the software for the Zune HD. The regular Zune software leaves much to be desired.

So far I'm really enjoying it. They said in some reviews that the web access wasn't as swift as the touch but I'm not seeing that at all. The thing I have seen is that I wasn't able to watch vids on YouTube. Its what I expected it to be and more.

It's 720p and it outputs on HDMI. I would think the quality is going to be pretty good. You have to buy like a $50 adapter for that feature though.

Just watched a tech video show and you're right except for it being $90. Guess the only constraint is that it takes up space on the Zune and HD movies will be more expensive than buying a regular blu ray (which is 1080p).

Yeah I read and watched a bunch of reviews too before I decided on the ZuneHD. But one of the things early reviews were wrong about vs now is the internet and it's cause it's been updated a few times, including from what I understand significant speed increases.

Sucks no flash but I only use the internet for small use. Now you just need a screen protector/case and some nice earbuds and you'll be all set. :P (fingerprints on the screen added quickly for me)

I have the DLO active or whatever it is called. Its the soft case that slides over it and velcros at the bottom. It has a strap and belt clip, but I don't ever use those. It does take a little getting used to the screen protector part though because some times it is not as responsive.

The price of Zune HD is higher than iPod touch. It has FM Radio while iPod touch has not. It has only 16GB/32GB memory while IPod touch has upto 64GB memory.(8GB/32GB/64GB)

I use Facebook so much that I'm almost willing to take this thing back because the app lags so horribly. But, the web version works fine so...
