Done a bunch of research and was really wanting the Samsung LN750B but couldn't never find it for a reasonable price. This was on my list as well, as its Vizio's top of the line model in this size.

Couldn't pass on that price and had one of the cheapest 3 year warranties i could find at only $79.

I'll be upgrading from a 37" Sharp, 720p, 60hz. Not pleased at all after I bought that tv about 2 years ago.

Anyone else have one of these?

I'll post my impressions once I get it all setup.

    What's wrong with the Sharp?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Horrible motion blur problems, ghosting/smearing, artifacts like crazy. Just an overall pretty crappy model. It was just a regular walmart tv. Bottom of the barrel. Looked good in store, pulled the trigger on it. Should have done a bit of research on it.

I'm selling it to my mother in law for $300 with our tv stand. She'll enjoy it though, she doesn't have an hdtv at all.

Also I think I notice all these "little" problems many don't see and then they turn into big problems imo cause i'm weird like that. I'm just really nitpicky when it comes to stuff. My wife hates that about me.

1080P,240 hz, that's all you need. I too bought a new tv (well new for me.)

Here's what I bought, I'm very happy with it.

The PS3 is a great blu ray player. Great media hub. When I had a PS3, 90% of it's use was as a blu ray player.

i'm curious as well. did you notice any difference in PQ compared to a 120 Hz set?

240hz is suppose to be less blurry picture with fast moving screens. Like football games and other sports games. I also heard that the two aren't that much different, but who knows.

I saw them both together I couldn't tell the difference. I am sure this is something, but I can't tell. Football your set has 120hz this TV is suppose to be faster at 240hz. I still can't tell a difference.

that's wahat i was wondering. if you're paying a premium price and not going to actually see a difference, what is the point?

but then again i'm not an videophile and don't have eagle eyes. so i wouldn't notice a slight difference if there was one

As long as u can see a visible difference between 60hz and the others i guess u can feel satisfied
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
                              Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
