    Your top albums of 2009?

Considering the year will be over in 13 days and I don't think there are any other major CD's coming out, I figured it would be an appropriate time. I've been able to come up with:

    1. Cartel - "Cycles"
    2. John Mayer - "Battle Studies"
    3. Breaking Benjamin - "Dear Agony"
    4. Eminem - "Relapse"
    5. Jay Z - "Blueprint 3"
    6. The Dream - "Love Vs. Money"

Clipse - till the casket drops
      jay z - blueprint 3
rick ross - deeper than rap (like his music, hate the individual)
      Alchemist - Chemical Warfare
Asher Roth - Asleep in the bread aisle

There were a lot of good mixtapes in 09. Some of my favorite were:

      wiz khalifa - flight school
      Lloyd Banks - 420 (V4)

                  3. the New Lady Gaga

I'm pretty sure those are the only three albums I have this year.

What's with all the Breaking Benjamin love? Dear Agony is easily the worst effort from them. The first three songs are great, the rest is meh, but that's my opinion. It just seems too much like more of the same, but on the tamer side. Anywho, my top cd's for 2009:

                          1. Mastodon: Crack The Skye
                          2. The Airborne Toxic Event
                          3. Built To Spill: There Is No Enemy
                          4. Alice In Chains: Black Gives Way To Blue
                          5. Pearl Jam:Backspacer

Definately have to agree with the Decemberists, I have probably listen to that album from start to finish at least once a week since it was released.
