It's not suppose to be a season full of former cast members but rather just a couple ala Stephanie and Bobby Jon coming back. There are also rumblings of Hatch and Coach returning in a future season.

I'd just rather see all new contestants until like season 30. I don't need to see Boston Rob and Russell again for a long time. Russell will NEVER win Survivor. NEVER.

Its looks the casting producers have a E list fetish. In the past couple of years we've had a backup Cowboys QB, the girl from SWV, the blonde wrestler from WWF, and now Jimmy Johnson.

Johnson was suppose to be on the Gabon season but he wasn't cleared by the medical staff. Considering he's 67 years old this isn't going to end well for him. I believe he's now the 2nd oldest Survivor of all-time only behind Rudy. He already has 2 things working against him before the game even starts: 1)He's old so he's probably going to be really terrible at physical challenges 2)There will be at least one person that knows who he is and word will spread that he is rich

I would crack up if Johnson is the first person to get booted and than still ends up winning the Sprint Favorite Player fan vote at the reunion show.

It looks like Season 21 is old people vs. young people to start the game. I'll wait for the cast list to come out before I start the Season 21 thread.

I didn't know this was being discussed here as it's for NEXT season but thanks all the same.

Like I said, it'll be interesting to watch this and I may just catch the show (the On Demand service here logs Survivor) and I won't have an excuse to miss it, at least while JJ is on.

No release dates yet.

I'm going through season 3 with a friend who didn't start watching until season 19 but the videos I have are pretty crappy quality. It'll be nice to have the DVDs.

According to RealityTVWorld Survivor starts on Wednesday (Yes, Wednesday)September 15 at 8PM ET/PT.

CBS has announced Survivor: Nicaragua will begin with the competition's 20 castaways divided into two tribes by age.

The Espada tribe, which will wear blue buffs and is named for the Spanish word for sword, will feature 10 contestants older than 40 while the La Flor tribe, which will bear yellow buffs and represents the Spanish word for flower, will consist of 10 contestants who are 30 years of age or younger.

I don't know if CBS have given an official reason but most seem to think it's to strengthen a weak timeslot and give Criminal Minds a strong lead-in.
