My prediction to win this season is Tyson.

If these people are smart, players like Boston Rob and Parvati would get booted quickly.

I'm interested to see how Russell plays this season. Because nobody else in the game saw how he played, he's going to have to give a reason as to why he was selected to be on back to back seasons. He would be foolish to brag about how good of a mental player he is.

Boston Rob looks like he dies next week. I really wish they hadn't put that in the teaser, but at the same time I can't wait to see what the hell happened with him.

Awesome first episode:

- at Coach trying to start a bromance with Rob.
- I can't believe the Dragon Slayer owned Colby at the first challenge. I loved Tyson's comment about it.
- I'm not a big Stephanie fan but I respect the fact she didn't quit after having her shoulder pop out
- The Hero's tribe is boring to watch compared to the villians.
- I thought Tom was smart to suggest voting out Cirie over Sugar. Sugar isn't a mental threat while Cirie is.
- I cracked up when Sandra took off Sugar's bra and than Sugar gave the tribe the double bird.
- Russell's ego is bigger than ever. I hope Russell and Boston Rob don't try to take each other out early in the game.
- Danielle and Candice barely got any screentime. Both players weren't even memorable during their respective seasons.

Russel's ego has always been that bit. I few days ago i rewatched all of 19 and it hasnt changed. This time he's admitting that these players are great players and its going to be tough.

Glad Sugar is gone. She seemed like she could get annoying real quick. I was just worried that they were gonna out-think themselves and try to pull a power move, real quick. Kicking out Cirie or Amanda would have been a big mistake this early.

* As some of you may know, often when there is a challenge on Survivor that is presented as a ''first team to three wins,'' in actuality, it was something much longer. Take this reward challenge: What you saw on TV was a ''first one to three wins.'' But in reality, the teams actually played all the way to five. Remember how the Villains went up 2-1 after Coach dragged Colby back to the Villains mat? In actuality, the Heroes had a whopping 4-0 lead when that contest took place, and that Coach victory merely got the Villains back to 4-1. But this was just the tip of the out-of-order iceberg, and what I am about to tell you is so convoluted and confusing we may need Lostexpert Doc Jensen to decipher it. The first-round match-up you saw with Stephenie and Cirie vs. Parvati and Danielle was actually round six and got the Villains back to being down only 4-2. But wait, it gets even more confusing. Remember how you saw Stephenie dislocate her shoulder and Probst remarked how she injured herself in the very first round of the very first challenge. Well, that was true, but it wasn't the round you saw. The actual first round (that you did not see) featured the exact same match-up (Stephenie and Cirie vs. Parvati and Danielle) and it was actually a Heroes victory. Not only that, but the injury appeared to occur while Stephenie was slapping the mat with her extended arm to give her team the win. So, the round you saw presented as the first match-up was actually a rematch that Stephenie was participating in after she had already dislocated her shoulder! (How tough is she?) So, the injury happened in one place, but was edited into another. Now because this is all a bit hard to follow, let me be clear about one thing: There is no monkeying around when it comes to Survivor challenges. The teams compete and the winner is the winner. Nothing is rigged. When you saw people winning rounds, they were winning rounds, maybe just not in the exact order it actually happened. Like all elements of the show, the producers just often record much more than can actually show so then have to figure out the best way to condense it all. (For example, the one round where Coach dragged Colby to his mat took over nine minutes by itself. It was an epic duel that was mesmerizing to witness, but simply too long to show in its entirety) And Stephenie did injure her shoulder in that competition against those same players, just not in the round they showed us. I'm actually surprised they edited it this way because watching Stephenie dislocating it as she won, and then coming back to compete after injuring it was pretty dramatic in itself. Again, just not enough time.

-The possibility of a Coach/Jerri romance is one of the most hilarious things i've seen in awhile.

-I totally agree with the person above who said Sugar was in way over her head in this season. She actually played a half-way decent game in Gabon, but that was a weak year for strategic players. Bob won solely based on winning like 20 immunity challenges in a row, and then got votes because he was old. It was pretty funny watching her try to use her looks to get out of this by inadvertently annoying the hell out of Colby, though.

-Anyone else think those chickens were planted?

-That shoulder being popped back in and J.T. breaking that chicken's neck were the first time i've ever wished I didn't have my surround sound system.

-I don't know who that Courtney chick is, I took like an 8 year break from watching Survivor between season 2 and the first season that was in HD which got me hooked again, but she's the "random hot chick" i'm rooting for this cycle. Her, Russell, or Tyson, all the way.

-Was there any doubt when the Heroes rolled out James and Rupert as their last team in that first challenge who was going to win that point?

Courtney was in survivor China i believe with James and Amanda. She got pretty damned far. I think she may have went to the end and lost to the other scrawny dude. SHe's cute, but if she makes it far she will look nasty due to how much weight she will lose. She will look really really really boney.

So did they not shoot this right after the last season? I ask because at one point Parvati makes a comment about Russell being a force and yet how would she know this if they filmed this right after the last one? Am I just not aware of how it all works and they show the season before its completely done being filmed?
