Re: Concerts you plan on going to in 2010
Saw Heart last night at Casino Rama in Orilla, Ontario, Canada and it was a tremendous show from start to finish for nearly 2 hours straight. Ann & Nancy Wilson can still rock with the best of them and their new material was great. Looking forward to their new cd Red Velvet Car and DVD on Aug. 31st."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Helter Skelter
Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)
The End
Near the beginning he did a cover of Foxy Lady by Hendrix.Comment

Jamie Cullum was outstanding! Very, very talented young man...band sounded as good as on the recordings. Plus, it was outdoors on the amphitheater lawn. Great evening!NOW PLAYING: Battlefield 3, MLB 12 The Show

Re: Concerts you plan on going to in 2010
I went to my first concert on the 8th of August in Lancaster, PA. The Scream It Like You Mean It Tour featuring Silverstein, Emery, I Set My Friends On Fire, Closer to Home, Dance Gavin Dance, Sky Eats Airplane, and Ivoryline.
Pretty intense for a first concert. It was pretty cool, Silverstein was damn good and I really liked ISMFOF. Emery, my friend's favorite band (he's the one who convinced me to go) was decent, but they hardly got any time to play. Disappointed with that because I was looking forward to them a lot. We missed Ivoryline too as they played first... I was excited to see them because they just released a new album and they were the one non-screamo band on the tour.
I think I like listening on my iPod more, though. It's just ear numbing noise at this concert. I like to pick out the different instruments when I listen and really become engrossed in the music. It was fun, but I'll only do it occasionally.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: Concerts you plan on going to in 2010
I saw Al Green in NYC at The Beacon Theatre about ten years ago and it will always rate as one of the most powerful performances and best shows I've ever seen...
I've been getting comps and passes to just about anything for decades, so trust me...I'm that jaded and he's THAT good...
GO NOW!
Also: Just saw Public Enemy at a friend's club and that was worth the effort...might go see Black Keys there in September...Comment

Re: Concerts you plan on going to in 2010
I live in a relatively small city (about 150k pop) and i just found that Guns n Roses supported by Korn will be coming to my town in December!!! That is just so awesome that words cannot describe it and i think my head might explode from excitement.
The biggest acts we hae had here in the past have been Tim McGraw (not a country fan) and Elton John (talented dude but not my type of music) so this is great.
So i'll have Metallica in October then Gunners and Korn in early December.Comment
