Music Library Management
As my music library nears 100GB, it is a constant struggle to keep it organized. I am always switching back and forth between WMP 12 and itunes. WMP is much faster, but itunes is easier to browse my library.

Re: Music Library Management
I try to keep it as articulate as possible. I have a decent-sized library and tend to it regularly. Also, I do artists by last name (Mayer, John), and try to keep my genres pretty general. Keeping things basic and organized makes it easy. And I use iTunes, I agree, its the best to use. -

Mediamonkey for me. I refuse to use iTunes and I dont like wmp. Mediamonkey is open source and there's a ton of scripts available for it. It has better tagging features than WMP and Winamp.[NYK|DAL|VT]

Re: Music Library Management
Yet again, instead of explanations we get bashing. Can you stop being so angry for a second and calmly explain?
I've been using iTunes for my media (music, movies, television shows, and video/audio podcasts) for years, and have had no issues whatsoever.
You mention iTunes being "unstreamlined." Well, looking at screenshots of MediaMonkey (from here), for example iTunes is much, much more streamlined. That software looks so cluttered to me, I wouldn't know where to begin if I were to use it.Last edited by Bruins; 01-25-2010, 05:00 AM.Comment
