Jeez I accidentally read this as 12 million LOL!

If he wanted to make money on the bet he should've went for the underdog Saints. Oh well, seems like money is slipping by like water through his fingers these days.

He's said he really has no regard for money whatsoever, so I'm sure he's not too down about it.

I'm really hoping this guy doesn't go broke.

He'll go broke and other poker pro's or vegas types will just stake him.

Poker players have a tendency to go broke.

Unless something happens with Full Tilt he won't need to worry about that.

Im perfer pokerstars to Fulltilt so I'm biased...

But I wonder what they actually make from that, because Phil Might be the biggest name, other gus like Chris Ferguson have an actual input on creative direction and software.

He already has. He has gone from millionaire to broke and back more times than any other high profile professional poker players besides Stu Ungar and Daniel Negraneu.

FWIW, one of the local radio stations was interviewing a sports betting columnist from Vegas this morning and he claimed it wasn't Ivey's money. He made the bet on behalf of another gambler who wasn't allowed to make the bet.

poker players make way too much money anyway, it's rediculous.

He's lost a fortune and won it back? I wouldn't know so that's why i'm asking because he seems like a fairly stable guy who's made a comfortable living for himself.

I'd like to hear about this a bit.

They have to win it though, so I'm all for whoever can make millions doing it.
                        -----

Ivey isn't struggling, he has made well over $20million playing poker. Probably a lot more on sponsorships and other stuff

NO, teachers, cops, firefighters, accountants, and nurses make too much money.

Poker players make what they earn/deserve.
