For his latest trick, Sirr Adam will transport you all back to September 25th, 1993, as you were watching Nickelodeon that day-

Re: That 90's Thread
This is funny. Everybody thinks "their" decade was the best.
I wasn't a teenager in the 90's I was in my 20's. I thought the beginning was great, the end pretty good, and the middle sucked.
Talk older people and tell you the 80's, 70's, 60's, and on and on and on were better.
In 10 years people will reminisce how awesome the 00's were. In the 90's I heard plenty of people lament about how great the 80's were and that the 90's suck. When the kids become the adults, they'll say the same thing.PSN: JISTIC_OS

60's> 50's> 90's>80's> 70's> 00's
To me 90's and 80's are actually tied but for the sake of the thread I will go with the decade I grew up in.Comment

Re: That 90's Thread
I dont remember getting one, but what I do remember was a getting machine gun(water gun) at the Abraham Lincoln gift shop in Springfield, and then being kicked out at McDonalds as we started a war(junior high Field trip to see Lincolns house and tomb)...Before anyone can continue you will be contractually obligated to post your highest pressured Super Soaker owned betwen the dates of January 1st 1990 and December 31st 1999. Adam Dayton, Supersoaker CPS, 20 times the power of XP 70, 49.95.
Now that's out of the way, I will never forget the first time I fell victim to Commercial Propoganda.
The case- Crocodile Mile.
The date- July 24th 1992.
The time- Noonish.
Report-
Little Adam Dayton having just been to Toysaurus with his mother opened what surely promised to be the greatest summer plaything known to man, a waterpark in a 6 x 5 box. Upon undoing packaging and unwrapping the beast, his pupils constricted at the site of this pitiful, sorry excuse of a 10 foot slide with a poorly drawn alligator on its side. Wet with hose it asked, it never did inquire when it ripped the heart from my stillbeating chest.
I am fairly confident had I just turned the corner into the bike section that fatefully July morning, I would not be the bitter, untrusting, antisocial angry young man I am today. Some people cite the revelation of no Santa Clause as their greatset hearbreak from ages five to around ten and a half. Those people never ****ed with J Lloyd International . Until you slide a mile in another man's shoes, you cannot begin to understand his plight.Last edited by Adam Dayton; 02-22-2010, 04:59 PM.Comment

Re: That 90's Thread
I had one of the first MP3 players, I think in '97...got it for Christmas. I don't remember the manufacturer but I do remember it held approximately seven mp3s.
Definitely true for the first statement but I don't know how anyone will be able to argue that the 00's were awesome. It was a pretty wretched decade IMO.This is funny. Everybody thinks "their" decade was the best.

Re: That 90's Thread
If you're on this or any message board in 8-10 years I promise you. People that were kids/high school last decade will start to long for the "good old days." It's human nature. The athletes will be the best, the movies, the bands. You can bank it.I had one of the first MP3 players, I think in '97...got it for Christmas.
