    Anyone have a Roku player?

Was looking on Amazon at this, and was interested. How well does it work?

I'd like to get netflix streaming up to the plasma in my bedroom without having to run ethernet cables down the stairs.

I guess this, or a wireless blu ray player, or a 360/PS3 could do the job.

Does anyone have one of these now? I am interested in getting one, but have been reading so many mixed reviews it's making my decision harder. I would really like to get one for use with MLB.TV and the WWE Network.

Interested to hear some OS reviews if anyone has the Roku 1, 2, or 3.

I've had one for years. It works fine. Not sure why'd you be seeing mixed reviews on it unless people were trying to get things out of it that it doesn't do, like watch YouTube. For Netflix, MLB, NHL, I never had problems with it. It doesn't get as much use these days since I don't have Gamecenter this winter, but still works fine for Netflix.

        I have a Roku
My Model Number is "Roku 2 XD" 3050X it's wireless and I have no problems with it when I did nextflix. However I also on an Apple TV and just to let you know if your thinking about the roku I would maybe give Apple TV a try over Roku because I think quality of video is much better on an Apple TV but this just my opinion. I hope I helped! But the roku is okay!

Get one. The Roku 3 is awesome. Can't go wrong.

The Google TV Streamer (4K)’s customizable interface, advanced search functionality, and ease of use set it squarely ahead of the competition.

Yeah, the Roku 3 is the one I was thinking about getting. I had it in my hands yesterday and put it back. Wanted to get some info on it first. I always read up on electronic purchases before I buy them.

The Roku 3 is HDMI only, so make sure the TV you plan to hook it up to supports that. I'm sure it does these days, but just making sure you know.

I have the Roku 2 and its been very solid, especially since that update that streamlined everything like the Roku 3. The Roku 3 is supposedly much snappier and the headphone jack on the remote is a nice bonus.

Yea I have the Roku HD, Roku 2 and Apple TV. They mostly are "faux" cable boxes with the Time Warner app on them so I can access all my digital cable channels through them so I don't have rent more boxes from time warner. Also I love the PBS app on Roku as well I have Dog Tv for the pup to keep him entertained while I'm at work. I love them all, but I would say the dual band wifi card on roku 2 and 3 make a massive difference in streaming speed from what the Roku 1 or Roku HD had

Been thinking about getting a Roku 3. One of my relatives has access to all of the ESPN channels in her Comcast package, if I used their account information, would I be able to use the WatchESPN app?

I just got the LT for WWE Network and MLBTV later.

Cool device. Anyone got any tips, tricks, suggested channels, etc?

I'm using RoConnect to put files up from my computer to watch. Is there something easier or better? I tried Plex but I couldn't figure it out.

Plex is what I use. Pretty straightforward to set up, at least it was for me. This might help:
