I must say I did not see that ending coming. I knew something was going to happen, but didn't see that happen. I loved it when he looked at Jesse and said "RUN"....wow!!

i giggled like a little school girl.

I love how the violence in this show is extreme, but so quick and it's over so soon you're still processing what happened. They make it so just absolutely REAL.

(1) Gus killing the nerd chemist-I thought it was a slim possibility, when Gale said he wasn't ready.

That's about it. Good opening with Mike kicking some a$$, a microscopic particle of Skylar, some good tension, and some bonding between Jesse and Walter.

No Hank, but in his present condition he's a bit of a downer.

A lot to ponder next season, including Gale's fate and the new dynamic between Walt and Gus.

On that spoiler note I thought it was a great episode.

Unbelievable episode. Some incredibly tense moments throughout. The ending was tough to watch. So ****ing good.

I liked Gale a lot. Too bad he's dead now. I enjoyed his relationship with Walt and wanted to see it grow.

I'd like to add that I am very bummed out that they showed this episode as a 2 hour event on my guide. I didn't notice it until I started watching it after the Finals game. I was pumped up for two whole hours, but instead I got one awesome hour and one wasted hour of a new television series. Anyone know if that sneak peek is worth watching? That takes an hour away from my DVR status.

I was pumped up for two whole hours, but instead I got one awesome hour...

That's the main reason why I thought the ending was awesome. We were all expecting 47 more minutes of BB but it ended so abruptly and that added to the effect.

In any event, I thought this was the best season finale of the three they've had thus far.

I think it's amazing that Jesse killed Gale to save Walt, especially since he never had the stomach to pull the trigger in the past. It just shows how strong their bond between one another really is after all they've been though. Walt saved Jesse by killing a stranger last week and Jesse saved Walt by killing a stranger this week. Their relationship has come a long way from the beginning of the series and that is what honestly makes this show so great is their "odd couple" style relationship. It may be just me, but the episodes where Walt and Jesse aren't together in some dynamic are far inferior to the ones in which they are.

If he isn't then the writers are very deceitful. My guess is that he is dead. But I could also see Gale joining forces with Jessie and Walt. Maybe Jessie fired at someone else? Either way, the ending was spectacular. I'm pretty positive that Gale is lying in a pool of his own blood though when the next season kicks off.

That's what I thought when I first watched it, but I just rewatched it a minute ago and it seems like it was just an illusion caused by the camera moving into Gale's point of view. I could be wrong, but that's what I thought it was.

That was crazy. I think Gail could have been reasoned with by Walt and Jesse, but they just didn't have time.

I'm fairly positive Gail is dead, the gun was pointed straight ahead, he didn't move it at all. it was pointed directly at the camera for the shot which is awesome.

I don't get how next season will kick off. IN fact I was thinking the show would end completely with a long finale, but so it continues.

After all this, though, the Gus/Walt relationship is dead. Jess and Walt may have to kill him and his goon. And Jesse is a free target. What's Walt going to do to stop him from getting killed. He bought himself some time, but not really pinkman. In other words, there is no punishment I can think of that Walt could threaten in the event they did kill jesse. I don't think "lab assistant" is a big enough card to play.

I'm not sure how I feel about the whole "overhead" claim either. If you're not making piles of money making and selling dope, than it's not worth it. It's also clear to me that Gus doesn't have a boss and is under no obligation to run this crime enterprise.

Anyway, great season.
