After two episodes I can't say enough good things about this show. Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) and Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls) headline an outstanding cast. The show is on Tuesday nights and I urge anybody who is into quality TV to watch the replays on the NBC website. Parenthood is an absolute must see-you will thank me later.

I've watched the first two episodes. I like it, but it is pretty heavy so I don't know if it will make it. The show does a good job at adding humor to the characters even though they are dealing with some serious stuff. I thought episode 2 was better than the first, so that's a good sign.

The first half of the first episode was laying out the characters, and I also liked the second episode better.

I cracked up when the lawyer mom says "I know right, she doesn't even work" right in the middle of a room of stay at home moms LOL.

Also it sucks how Tierney had to pull out of the show (cancer) but I like Lauren Graham better.

I prefer Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls) also. Her character (Sarah) is my favorite on the show so far. The lawyer mom (Julia) really messed up with the mike that night. Interesting that her husband is a stay at home dad.

I really liked the first two episodes. It's a lot heavier than I expected, but its been really good so far.

Jason Ritter (The Class fans-remember?) will have a recurring role as a teacher that both Sarah and student daughter like.

Glad to hear that. It's hitting the right note for me as it doesn't remain on my DVR for long. It's got a lot of heart and great acting and that's a good combo.

I checked it out because I really liked Peter Krause (Adam) in Six Feet Under on HBO.

Parenthood seems decent. I'll watch it for a couple more episodes at least. I'm just not all about network dramas because they can't go as far and seemingly be as "real" as HBO and Showtime dramas.

Parenthood seems decent. I'll watch it for a couple more episodes at least. I'm just not all about network dramas because they can't go as far and seemingly be as "real" as HBO and Showtime dramas.

The tone of the show doesn't really need the less strict censorship of FX, Showtime, or HBO. Not that it lacks teeth, but violence and 4 letter words are not what this show is about.

I really liked the past episode. This is a pretty darned good show, but its an NBC show and well, NBC couldnt cant get good ratings on anything new.

This is a quality show. I'll be making sure to catch it every week. This is the first network program I can say that about in a really long time.
