Is it me of did Joel severely overreact? I feel like that storyline had to go the divorce route but I feel like there is just some skipped steps in telling the story right. He punched the guy his wife kissed, fair enough, then jumped straight to divorce? Idk. I do think there is something to him overreacting possibly projecting his own actions onto the situation. Maybe he smashed his boss and they just didn't show it to the audience? I doubt its gonna go there but it looks plausible. It just seems like there were a few scenes missing leading to his moving out.

But anyway, my boy Drew is falling for all the tricks little miss blondie is spitting out. Emotional blackmail, emotional extortion, I dont even know what to call it. Gotta get your mind right Drew!

Joel is an oversensitive putz. He needs to go. There are a lot of guys who would gladly take his wife off of his hands.

Remember that chick that kissed Adam at the luncheonette (season 2?)? The young girl with the brunette hair and bright blue eyes? Yeah she was one HBO's True Detective and lets just say HBO did us all a great service this week. She is fine.

That was the same girl? I thought I recognized her. Adam has a lot more discipline then Woody.

Good news. NBC just renewed Parenthood for a final 13 episode season. The cast had to take a pay cut, most of it do to the reduced number of episodes. Early talk had NBC wanting the main cast to appear in 9 of the 13 episodes.

Very satisfying end to the series. I'm glad it lasted 6 seasons. From year to year I never knew if it was going to be renewed.

My goodness they were committed to killing off Zeke. My god its like they really REALLY wanted him to die. I shed my feels for Zeke on the episode where he had the heart attack at the end, but failed to cry even at his death scene after that they telegraphed it so hard. I mean damn.

Anyway it was a satisfying finale. They crammed in ALOT of stuff and rushed a few stories that seemed half baked; thrown in for the audience to play with in their imaginations. I especially liked the flash forward montages of the families.

Nitpick warning: Was it me or was the family way too jovial when spreading the ashes on the field before they played baseball? Idk how much time had passed, but If Im spreading my dads ashes, the last thing Im doing at that exact moment is smiling. All 50 members of the fam were smiling like they had just heard a joke as they pass around an urn and spread the patriarchs ashes. Idk that seemed weird.

Good show, would erase memory and watch again for the first time.

Zeke's death was inevitable, and soon, whether it be onscreen or after the show left the airwaves, so I didn't have any problem with it.

Zeke was a big baseball fan, and the family wanted it to be a celebration of life more than anything, so I didn't find it weird. Jabbar and Victor did have on sad faces though.
