If the 3D requires glasses, then no thanks. That's fine for movie theaters, but I don't want to have to put on and take off glasses everytime I leave the room etc. Let alone leaving all that extra crap lying around the house.
Once tv's can literally just "project" 3D, then I'll be interested.Comment

It will be with the glasses. All the demos of 3D without glasses has been poor, at best.If the 3D requires glasses, then no thanks. Unless you have a PS3....you'll need a new 3D HDTV, 3D glasses, new 3D capable blu ray player + of course, 3D blu rays.
The PS3 is getting an 3D-capable firmware update later this year.Comment

A lot of the stuff can get a 3d firmware update, but to get 1080p/24fps, you might have to wait a while.It will be with the glasses. All the demos of 3D without glasses has been poor, at best.
Unless you have a PS3....you'll need a new 3D HDTV, 3D glasses, new 3D capable blu ray player + of course, 3D blu rays.

From what I've read, only 2x or better blu ray optical drives can handle 3D--- the PS3 being one of them.Comment
