Re: Kick A**
I know right. I was definitely surprised because, how many movies do you see a little kid(a girl nonetheless) cursing like she's grown. I loved it and found it pretty humorous myself.
I know little kids that curse more than me and that is really saying something.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment

Re: Kick A**
As for all the talk of the little girl cursing earlier in the thread, I'd like to point out that the problem with kids swearing isn't the fact that they said the words, but the fact that you don't want your kids to grow up using words in public and everyday speech because that is disrespectful. They're just words.
The fact that this girl swore during a movie isn't going to affect her in any way whatsoever tomorrow, because she knows that she's not supposed to do that. It has nothing to do with the money but having a mature kid that understands the difference from what you say in a movie, and what you say to a person you meet/know.Comment

I agree with this. Heck, i have caught my 12 year old nephew cursing before. He doesnt do it around his parents or around other people, but you can best believe kids now days will do it in front of their friends. Hell, i did it back in the 80's around my friends. As for all the talk of the little girl cursing earlier in the thread, I'd like to point out that the problem with kids swearing isn't the fact that they said the words, but the fact that you don't want your kids to grow up using words in public and everyday speech because that is disrespectful. Re: Kick A**
i am sure certain movies have to be screened by the parent, before they let them watch, my sister does it with her son. My best friend does it with her daughter. they let them at times watch Rated R movies depending on what the movie is.
Hell, when i was a kid, my parents didnt give a crap if it was rated R. People talk about the demise of whatever and its getting worse, but 20 years ago, it was way worse and we were better off. Explain to me how that happens? Ironic isnt it.
The more you try to instill stupid things into people, the worse it gets. USA is so f'ed up in that department imo.Comment

Re: Kick A**
I remember being in middle school and cursing like a sailor around friends. Never cursed around the 'rents though. Happened to enjoy having all my teeth and not having to eat through a straw.I agree with this. Heck, i have caught my 12 year old nephew cursing before. Re: Kick A**
People are going to be upset, I say let them. They have a right not to watch the movie as well as to question a strangers parenting abilities for letting their child star in the movie. I thought the actress was perfect for Hit Girl and was the best part of the movie. I agree with the poster that said no one else could pull it off, and for me, she made the movie as good as it was.I agree with this. Heck, i have caught my 12 year old nephew cursing before. Re: Kick A**
I know my mom sure didn't give a damn about what I watched. When I was a kid I was watching everything from Toy Story, Boyz N the Hood, to the hardcore horror movies like pin head. My mom didn't really like me cursing though when I was little but, once I got around 12 or 13 It couldn't be stopped but, I respected my elders enough to not say it around everyone I could. Mostly just kids my age.i am sure certain movies have to be screened by the parent, before they let them watch, my sister does it with her son. I blame Chappelle lol but, really though there are so many kids that curse now, It's really amazing. I remember when kids would curse and not really know what it meant and now It seems like they know everything.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment
