Just saw it tonight. Absolutely awesome and nothing like I expected from watching trailers earlier in the year. The soundtrack was excellent also which definitely added a lot to the action scenes. Probably in my top 5 for favorite superhero movies of all time, and the only thing I would confidently put ahead of it is Dark Knight.

I think Raising Arizona was easily Cage's best movie.

Just saw this last night. The movie is aptly named. The wife and I both really loved it.

Cage's homage to Adam West with the way he delivered Big Daddy's dialogue was hilarious.

Saw the movie last weekend and I loved it. It pretty much lived up to the expectations I had going into the movie. Chloe Moretz's performance was simply amazing and funny at the same time.

Just finished watching this and wow....this is one of my all-time favorite movies. I loved it. The directing, the characters, the story, it was all just amazing and really well done. I think I might just go watch this again in a little bit. It was seriously that good to me.

The characters were cast perfectly IMO. Kick-***, Hit Girl, Big Daddy, the main villain, pretty much every character/actor in the movie was great. I did think McLovin/Chris Mintz-Plasse (?) would've had a better or funnier role in the movie but he didn't bring the movie down at all. Also, that Katie girl was fiiine.

My only complaint is in the last part of the movie:

The jet pack overdid it. Same with the bazooka death.

It didn't really take away from how good the entire movie was though.

It also looks like there's going to be a sequel, which I'm excited about. It's gonna be tough to top this one but I'll be looking forward to it.

I don't think Kick *** the character is a character a lot of people can truly connect with and I think that is the major flaw the film. I can see people not liking his personality, delivery, whatever and dismissing the movie simply because of that since he is the central character. Hit Girl and Big Daddy steal each and every scene they are in, but personally I liked Kick ***'s character evolution and while I thought he was trying too hard at times, was a character I could relate to.

This is one of the biggest reasons why I loved this movie. In the beginning scene when he's describing what his life is like, that was basically me to a tee. So right from the start the movie pretty much sucked me in because I connected with the Kick-*** character. I also thought the guy that played Kick-*** did an awesome job.

If I had to rate the movie, I'd give it a 4/5 stars. For me it was nearly close to a 5/5 to be honest. I'd put it just behind The Dark Knight as my favorite superhero movie and also one of my favorite movies ever.

I agree.... there was already a lot of "over the top" in this flick....no on was going for authenticity. If I had to get rid of anything it would have been....

I loved almost all of the music in the movie. The only song that really annoyed me was the 2nd one at the end credits.

Fantastic movie, I rented it and ended up keeping it. Have watched it twice and plan to watch it again soon! Great drinking movie btw
