Too much nostalgia for the original Freddy I guess.

I'll still see it. The atmosphere looks good, and for the most part, reviewers typically aren't all that high on slasher films, minus a few great ones.

Got tickets for tomorrow night, so i'm looking forward to it. It's just nice having big horror movies in theaters once in a while.

Roeper liked it, that's another fresh one.

I'll probably see it too. I have a free movie ticket, and I don't know what else to do with it.

I'm going to see it after work. I don't expect it to be great, but it can't be as bad as some of the last ones in the series.

Julianna Guill made the remake far greater than Jason X. Wow!

Just came back from it. Movie was horrible! The acting and dialogue was so bad...freddys make up made him look stupid..and he actually talks and jokes in the movie. Bah another childhood movie remade terribly.

Like he does a stand up routine or something? That would be awesome. When everyone falls asleep they're pulled into his dream comedy club and anyone who doesn't laugh gets torn in half.

                    I'd watch it.

Hopefully, all remeakes will get HORRIBLE reviews, so they'll finally stop remaking every damn thing (like they've been doing the past 4-5 years). I'm waiting for the end of the remake era just like I'm waiting for the end of the reality show era.

I'm partly with you, but at the same time I hope some remakes get great reviews (look at Casino Royale). They need an idea on how to do it correctly. That way you'll shut down the stupid ideas and you'll promote the great ideas, and we'll get great remakes down the road.

The remake for The Crazies was pretty good too.

                              Casino Royale was a remake?

And reviews don't mean anything if people still shell out their cash to see all these flaming dog piles of ****.
