Yeah, elemental designs puts out high quality (expensive) subs. Don't think I'd pay much more than $300-400 for just the sub.

That's a PS3 Slim underneath the Dish receiver and that's a PS2 next to the fridge.

Most good subs offer 8-10 years of warranty. I have 8 on mine..

LOL @ taking a pic of the sub only. That looks like a $200 sub that puts out 400 watts or something. It is HUGE, bet that thing can rattle some windows right ?

Nearly 90 pounds. I actually can't lift it off the ground by itself simply because I can't wrap my arms all the way around it.

Only off by about $400.

I got it for $550. So yeah, obviously a stupid expensive piece of equipment, and I almost regretted going through with it. Then it arrived, I hooked it up, and my entire house shook. Certain movies you can hear the rumble up on the third floor. I love it. For me, it really brings me into my games and movies, along with the 7 speakers of course. And yes, I am really, really, REALLY hoping it lasts 10 years.

Yeah, but I'm obviously a bass addict. I have a hard time differentiating between speakers, so I don't go for the amazing speakers. But the sub I can tell an obvious difference, so I made the decision to upgrade that.

I wanted something capable of easily upgrading to 3 monitors for iRacing since I have really gotten into that hardcore. I have a Alienware PC as you can see, and Logitech G27 wheel. The past few weeks I have pretty much forgotten about the Ps3 or xbox 360 other than for netflix. All my attention has been iRacing. I found a way to get the G27 wheel normally $300.00 for half price.
