well I made that post before last nights episode
I agree he wont go home tomorrow, however, whether or not this moves helps him or hurts him down the road remains to be seen. He seems to think that he has now secured Brendon and Rachels trust and can use that down the line. And if that is the case then ok... but it seems to me that they are just as suspicious of Matt as ever, and if he thinks he thinks they trust him but they actually dont, he may get blindsided (by his own doing)
also, idk what Rachel was so distraught about. So you think Matt is up to something, big deal, put him up as a pawn anyway... i don't see what her issue was. There is no downside to putting someone who you're suspicous of up as a pawn... none! I mean honestly, the only thing he could be doing is trying to gain their trust, in which case nothing says they have to give it to him. She acted like by putting Matt on the block, she was giving him some kind of power over them, which makes no sense to me
in fact, if Brendan and Rachel are smart they are in a great spot. Matt coming to them is great for them because now Matt thinks that they think they owe him, when the truth is they still dont trust him. Play up to Matts ego and he can put himself into trouble down the line when he thinks they'll help him out
