Solid, I never considered myself a true Nine Inch Nails fan because I'm not big on much of anything that came before the Fragile. I'll have to give the early ones you mentioned another listen. Here's what my list would look like:

    Nine Inch Nails
    1. Beside You In Time
    2. In This Twilight
    3. Zero Sum
    4. God Given
    5. We're In This Together
    6. Just Like You Imagined
    7. La Mer
    8. Where Is Everybody?
    9. Right Where It Belongs
    10. Sunspots
    11. All The Love In The World
    12. Only

    and a bonus band. . .

    Deftones
    1. Root
    2. My Own Summer (Shove It)
    3. Prince
    4. Rocket Skates
    5. KimDracula
    6. Combat
    7. Digital Bath
    8. Knife Prty
    9. Passenger
    10. Beauty School
    11. Royal
    12. Lotion

Like I said, a top ten is tough to fill.

And in all seriousness, Loser is a great acoustic track, but their mix from their original album is pretty bad, despite the song being good itself. It just turns me off.

When I'm Gone was #11 for me. Kryptonite is maybe the lowest of their popular songs for me. Same with Lifehouse and Hanging By a Moment.

                Agree.

I'd replace 1, 2, and 5 with those three and that'd be my list.

****, I'm about to listen to those three songs now because it's been so long.

I feel bad about leaving Be Like That off, too. I always loved that song.

I'd wager that he has, considering 5 of his 12 songs are from the new album

Wow a song from Make Believe up there that isn't Perfect Situation? Haha i really don't like that album at all. I like the list but I would do:

                      1. Only in Dreams
                      2. Say It Ain't So
                      3. El Scorcho
                      4. Burdnt Jamb
                      5. Dope Nose
                      6. Island In the Sun
                      7. Why Bother
                      8. Butterfly
                      9. Holiday
                      10. My Name is Jonas
                      11. I Want You To
                      12. Across the Sea

I think Across the Sea should be higher, but jeeze it's tough to narrow it down to 12, especially if you avoid a ton of Blue and Pinkerton.

Ha, yes sir, as Dakkon wagered, I have indeed heard that song and I enjoy it as well.

Yeah, I don't know if my Deftones playlist would normally have that many songs off of one album, but at this point I'm riding that New Album High where you love every song from the disc so. . .I guess that's my current setlist for now.

I tried to keep it low, but when you literally love every song the band has ever put on CD (with the exception of Pink Cellphone), it gets extremely hard. I tried to go with a little flow with it starting out with the heavy, punch you in the face songs. The middle area has songs that are a mixture of both heavy and mellow, and finally ending with the put you to sleep songs. And I always thought Kimdracula would have been an excellent end of album track.

Anyone who has never heard this band and likes music that is extremely laid back and chill should give them a try. Their music just takes me to a happy place that words can't even describe. It's so beautiful and atmospheric and can put me to sleep in minutes if I'm listening to my iPod in the bed..

Another great band that I've not heard many people talk about. Their music usually has a steady, catchy beat with a bass line to accompany it. They actually kinda remind me of the Beach Boys with the way they do their harmonies and stuff.

I love the idea of this thread though because it may give people who are looking for new music to listen to a couple of new bands that they would have never listened to otherwise. I'd love to turn people onto Deftones, GIAA, and Pinback.
