Safety feature of the flying car......built in parachute......LOL. Oh I just thought of something, what if somebody kid or wife is talking on the cell phone when you trying to take off and your car stalls out in mid lift off. LMAOComment

Re: Worlds first flying car approved by FFA.
Yeah, the street legality of this will last until a week after the first model is sold (if it's even legal now).
My father is one of top general aviation lobbyists and I've worked for the largest GA organization in the world and the largest state GA organization and nobody from those would consider this remotely reasonable.
That said, the "terrorist" risk of this is almost zero. This could take out a person or a car, but would be nearly incapable of killing someone standing more than 3 feet away from a large window. Against a building this would be almost laughable.Comment

Re: Worlds first flying car approved by FFA.
Huh?
How is this any more of a risk than an actual small cessna that can carry thousands of pounds of actual cargo and passengers? I am sure any terrorist wanting to pull something off is fully capable of getting a plane, renting a spot in a hangar, going there at night and filling it up with explosives then flying off and crashing into something.
I don't think Mr. Terrorist is going to drive down the road in his flying car filled with fertlizer on down to the airport to go crash into something.Comment
