If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Re: The Walking Dead
Rotten tomatoes didn't look good...apparently his directing is uninspired, and he's running out of new ideas.
Unless you're a huge Romero fan I'd probably pass for now until someone who has seen it can comment. I'm personally not really into Romero's new stuff anyways, and this sounds worse than normal.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: The Walking Dead
Uhmmmmmm........well Best Buy has the Blu-ray on sale this week for $16.99. For $17, I would make the blind buy purchase.......but nothing more than that.
I am writing up the review as we speak which will post on my site today. In some ways, I find this to be a worse movie than "Diary of the Dead". Since I am a Romero fan and have all his "Dead" releases on Blu-ray I will keep this one too. There is some cool stuff in this movie, but the problem is that he allowed the social commentary to go before the story unlike his first four efforts where it was underlying. The social satire sticks out like a sore thumb as it did in "Diary". The acting is not bad in this one, but not great either. The cool thing is that it is a sequel to "Diary" which Sgt. Crockett has a larger role.
Back to The Walking Dead..........this darn show can't get here fast enough.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead
I've gotten up to vol. 7, "Calm Before." It's a really great read and I'm hoping to catch up soon. Sadly, I went on the official site and ruined some big plot points for myself. Thankfully, doing that has never bothered me much. Can't wait to see the television adaptation and I'm curious how they'll tone down the violence and sex.
Have you seen Dead Snow? I actually thought it was pretty good. 1 of the better Nazi Zombie movies I have seenLast edited by J_Posse; 08-27-2010, 12:07 AM.San Antonio Spurs 5 - Time ('99, '03, '05, '07, '14) NBA Champions
