Wow I thought that episode was downright bad, and I'm not sure I've ever said that about The Office....30 rock putting it to shame right now

Don't see that at all...last night's Office was one of the best in a while imo. Reminded me of seasons' 1-3 right there.

meh....kevin running around and being out of breath just wasn't doing it for me. Worst part was the story seemed to not come together at all.....all that build up with Jim just so the guy could say he was "too dumb?" The entire thing with the business seminar seemed pointless, what happened to the guy with the golf business? Not enough Michael, Jims thing was dumb, not enough Pam, not enough Dwight

There are other characters to make up for occasionally short Pam and Dwight screen time, but I mostly didn't care for this episode.

The seminar was more of a disaster entertainment wise than it was in the "Office" world.

Yeah the Jim thing didn't work for me. The Kevin "minithon" begs two questions. "What the he!! was that?!" and "What the he!! was that?!"

The beginning with Gervais and the Holly-Michael stuff was the only thing of interest to me.

Did anyone else notice how at the beginning David Brent asked if there were any job openings and Michael said not right now? It seems weird that they would have David Brent ask. Maybe I'm reading too into it, but what if David becomes the new boss? I guess it could just be them hinting at Michael leaving, but that's a moot point to me because everyone already knows that's gonna happen.

Why couldn't it? Let's be real here, this show is gonna have maybe another two seasons. It's not really a long-term commitment for Ricky Gervais and it would bring in ratings.

NBC was interested. Gervais's email response:

“As David Brent would say ’Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt’. As I would say, “Why would I get up at 6 a.m. five days a week for seven years when I can hire someone else to do that and still get my syndication money?”

Add to that the fact that Gervais's Office seasons were 6 episodes long as opposed to 20+.

Hahaha ok that answers that question. I hope he has a decent part. It'd be disappointing if i didn't amount to much more than what role he had last week.
