Tried to embed one of the songs, but I am really enjoying Matthew Santos' solo work. Don't know why it doesn't get more attention, there's some amazing talent there. His album that came out in 2012, "Quickly Disappearing" has some great songs, and I really like the solo acoustic work too.

Fans of jazz, blues, funk/soul, and alt rock should check this album out.

Try either of the earlier versions from Aretha Franklin or Jackie Wilson.

Welcome back to the Godfathers of Metal, Black Sabbath minus Bill Ward.

Brad Wilk from RAM fills in.

                      I love the new disc.

DJ, it's my shocker of the year.

I think I get why they named the album 13. Ozzy said it took 13 yrs of lawsuits, cancer and other things to get this to where it is today.

Last album with Ozzy was in 78.

Rick Rubin is the producer of the album and they came swinging for the fences and connected.

                          BB has like 3 different versions. One with a t-shirt and 4 extra songs, $29, w/o t-shirt, $17 and w/o the 4 extra songs $12.

Anywhere else than BB, has 3 extra songs, 1 more if you get it at BB.

I bought the $17 version and don't regret it at all. The 4 extra songs clock in on a second disk around 20 minutes, 1 hour in total.

Ha! Ozzy still has great stage presence and his voice has actually held up well.

Rubin really understands how to keep bands from straying too far from their most-popular sounding albums, while at the same time giving them a fresh sound. I thought he did great work with Metallica on "Death Magnetic".

Thanks for the heads-up on the different albums. I have some money to spend at BB, so will head there to pick it up.

Awesome stuff, possibly their best album yet, took the "heavy" up a notch.
