Been listening to Kanye West's College Dropout on vinyl, I always go back to this record. I find the man insufferable but damn can he write and sing.

In Flames "Battles" album.
Catchy hooks like you would expect from late version IF. Still some hints of metal.Comment

Re: What are you listening to?

It's a fun listen but it's probably the worst Gorillaz album in terms of overall quality, and I say that as somebody who didn't really love the self-titled debut. I liked two of the three singles (Ascension & Saturnz Barz) but a lot of the stuff beyond that was either meh or good, but in a weird place or structured weirdly. The Danny Brown verse is a great example of this: It's great and I love endlessly, but it's placed in a middle of the song that you would never expect a Danny Brown verse to appear onAnd may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Re: What are you listening to?
Yeah, that's about my sentiment after 2-3 listens. It doesn't have a structured atmosphere like the previous two albums so for me it doesn't present any compelling reasons to go back for it since none of the songs really stuck out to me.
I've also been listening to Attack & Release a lot lately and am really digging into it more than I have previously.
