This was very different from Babymetal. It really shows off Su's voice, and the lyrics are quite powerful. They are in Japanese obviously, but from the translation you can see that she talking about nuclear explosions. Suzuka (lead vocals) is from Hiroshima.

Two member experimental electronic Russian group. Lots of social message stuff, very distinct vibe. Anastasia Kreslina has a great voice. She sings in Russian.

Speaking of interesting bands, real big fan of Jonathan Bree. I like the gimmick and he has a solid voice imho.

Really digging the new Katatonia album. It has the sound of some of their older stuff imho.

First time hearing this band. The sound is very familiar to another band that it's going to drive me crazy until I can place it. Either way I like it.

Jonas Renske's voice always sounds so different to me ie Katatonia. If you can think of the band I'd love to hear them.

It took me a while but I finally remembered who Katatonia reminded me of.

I do remember that my first instinct was Ghost, but I think Dream Evil has the closer sound.

A nod and a RIP to one of the greatest songwriters of all time. It's probably my favorite

from his collection, even though he is noted for The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
