I am ALWAYS the guy that everyone gives a hard time about not seeing _______ movie. I havent seen most of the ones listed here and the ones I have seen are times when a friend would get mad and make me watch the movie.
Back to the Future is one of the main ones I havent seen metioned in the thread. I could add YP's whole post to mine as well. Overall most of the common movies that everyone has seen are ones that I miss for whatever reason.Comment

See, Back to the Future is my favorite trilogy of all time. The first film has some of the best writing you'll ever see in that genre.

Of course it's my opinion, but you're not missing much. I'm not saying you're not missing good movie making, but this day and age it won't sway you to put it on the top of any lists.
There are a lot of movies my dad wants me to see that I have yet to give a chance like A Few Good Men, Raiders of the Lost Ark (I have seen it but at a very young age, not in recent memory could I say that I recall a thing about it), Forrest Gump, and Fargo.
Only within the last five years have I seen other movies he had once recommended like Heat, My Cousin Vinny, Good Will Hunting, and The Shawshank Redemption.
As I noted in the thread, one of my biggest pet peeves is when somebody makes a big deal out of something like this. Citizen Kane, Apocalypse Now, Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Full Metal Jacket

The Godfather is at the near top of my all-time list. I recommend it all the guys that haven't seen it.
Biggest one from me would be the second and third movies in the Matrix series. Also Rain Man. And lets throw Grease in there for ****s n giggles.
Beantown, if I were to put those movies in order to watch them it would be: FMJ, AN, and CK. My personal ranking would be AN, FMJ, and CK. FMJ has probably the first half of any movie ever made, but the second half kind of drops a little. AN is a better overall film, though.

Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about both AN and FMJ - other than the strange shift in the 2nd half of FMJ - and they're both up near the top, I just haven't found the time to sit down and watch. Truthfully, I think both are on Netflix Instant Watch, as well.Comment

hahahaha... I'm a fan and an alumnus. I'm not delusional though... lol. Bama is going to send PSU back to Happy Valley with a rough loss (and start off a Nittany Lion season in which they'll be lucky to win 8 games). I think things will be different next year when Saban has to travel to Beaver Stadium, but that's a long way off.
No Star Trek, no Zena, no Hercules, no Twilight, no Buffy, no Heros, no Xmen, and no Fantastic Four. I have seen Xmen and Fantastic Four, but they're not my cup of tea. I've never seen more than a few minutes of any of the TV shows and haven't seen any of the Twilight Saga.So that means you didn't watch any of the Star Trek tv shows, Xena, Hercules, Twilight movies, Buffy tv shows, Heros, Xmen, Fantastic Four, etc ?

Indiana Jones Series (Saw that latest ones and didn't care too much for it, but I would like to go back and watch some of the originals sometime)
