I've never even seen the original, but I liked this one for sure. Yeah, it includes a vampire and all, but hardly your typical vampire flick. It is very much the same as the original. I have a tough time choosing one over the other because they both look the same. Both have that grainy, dirty look with a snail-like pace that heightens its psychological suspense.
I like the boy from the original better than the American remake, but Chloe had a different energy than the original Swedish girl. While the Swedish girl seemed like a dark child, Chloe felt like an adult trapped in a child's body. I enjoyed that performance more.

I've never seen the original but liked this version.. Little slow during the first 30 mins or so but it picks up towards the middle and was very well done overall.Comment

There was absolutely no buzz at all for this movie's DVD/Blu-Ray release and I don't know why. They played commercials for it non-stop pre-theater release.Originally posted by bradtxmale

I'm a fan of Chloe Moretz after her performance in Kick-*** and I wanted to see this when it came to theaters. Not sure why I never did.
Anyways I had my brother add it to his Netflix que but it was on a "very long wait". So I just went out and go the bluray today. Didn't get a chance to watch it tonight, but hopefully tomorrow night will be a Let Me In night.Comment

Loved-it, Loved-it, Loved-it..... Matt Reeves did a great job. Chloe Smit-Moretz was a great casting. Was every bit as good as the original and in some cases actually more superior.
The BR Video & Audio were really good. If you love the genre this is a must own...Comment

Yea, that's as good a reason to have a sequel. Unfortunately, though that would be a good pickup from the ending, it just wouldn't be the same film.
