I don't know if it's the lighting in the cover shoot, but I think the suit is way too dark.

Here's the upcoming Man Of Steel figure. Suit isn't as dark as the cover. Could just be the way it was shot with the lighting.

I miss the trunks. They're needed to bring a little contrast into the suit and level off some of the blue.

I think the bright red boots, "S", and the giant red cape do that sufficiently.

I was originally opposed to this look however seeing it in the comics for over a year now I've grown to like it. I prefer the red trunks look a little more but this works just as well.

Latino Review and Nuke The Fridge are both reporting MAN OF STEEL was screened and early reactions are saying that "It's the best superhero film ever made."

I hope this is true and that it puts Superman back where he belongs at the top of all the superheroes. I can't wait for this.

Yeah as much as I was disappointed that Routh wasn't returning as Superman, or that WB didn't give Singer the chance to finish his planned trilogy and was so against Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill, the new costume I am getting very excited about this movie. The new trailer should be coming next month so maybe we'll get some more good looks.

JoBlo.com claims to have received further word of more positive reactions coming out of an advanced screening of "Man of Steel" shown to Warner Bros. Executives.
Imagine a Nolan story with Snyder effects/action.
It's the best movie of the year.
There's TONS of action with Superman kicking all kinds of *** in his suit.
The cape is CG'd most of the time so it can look awesome.
They have intentionally left out most of the the Super action in trailers to save it.
It's not nearly as dour and serious as the trailers suggest.
The movie is complete, minus the 3D post-conversion, which is currently taking place.

AUUUGGGGGHHHHH. Superman may be faster than a speeding bullet, but his movie certainly isn't.
