                We'll here we are almost a week later & still no FOX/MY-9. FIOS Tech is here installing & in a couple of hours I'm done with Cablevision.

                        I haven't terminated with CV yet. My wife did say they tried to call me yesterday. I'm not even gonna give them a couple of days. Once everything is set-up with FIOS. Set-Top boxes, remotes & cable modem all go back to CV.

                            Finally all done with CV. Terminated service yesterday. Took all their equipment back. So far I'm really liking FIOS TV. The picture clarity is much better than CV & the Internet is much faster also.

                            Very happy right now, not to mention I got FOX-5 back

                                I live a little out there in the woods but we just got fios availability out here. Literally the only thing keeping me with Direct TV is the Titans. Hopefully someday Verizon can get the NFL package cause Im not that fond of directv.

                                    Don't hold your breath. It's direct tv's signature product, and they are willing to pay more than anyone for the exclusive rights to it. They paid $4 billion just last year to extend it to 2014.

                                        I thought the way the Baseball thing went down last year(if im remembering correctly) they had a ruling where they couldnt make it only 1 company holding the rights, I thought the NFL sunday ticket wouldnt be too far behind. I guess not.

                                            Fairly easy to fork out 4 billion when just about every bar with DirecTV will probably be purchasing the package. Also I'm sure quite a few home consumers like myself don't blink an eye at buying the NFL package. I'm willing to pay 300ish$ to watch the Packers/not have to watch the Eagles and Steelers every week.
                                            NFL: Green Bay Packers
                                            MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
                                            NBA: Denver Nuggets
                                            NHL: Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins
                                            NCAA: Air Force Falcons, Penn State Nittany Lions

                                                I think they actually lose money on it, but they make a lot more in the business that they get from those subs.
